Liz Wanless

Great Events is the lovechild of Liz Wanless's passion for planning meets super organized natural team leader. With a mix of enthusiasm and entrepreneurship, Great Events was born.

Six years in business later; many varied and exciting events have been celebrated. (See In the News for the latest in celebrations).

Before Great Events, Liz climbed the corporate ladders at varied companies including Sprint Canada on the marketing teams, finding every opportunity to orchestrate spectacular, memorable events.

Owner and chief planner Liz Wanless's reputation is founded in her passion, creativity, attention to detail and her energetic drive.

Wearing more than one hat even in her university days; Liz graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy indulging her pensive and intellectual side, while completing a Marketing Program at Ryerson at the same time to secure practical business skills that have served her well over the years.

Liz also received her certification by the Wedding Planning Institute of Canada (WPIC) in 2005.
